Ethics Policy

The Journal’s Publication Ethics Policy is based on the guidelines and standards developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Some of the important responsibilities of authors and editors of the journal are shared below.

Author's Guidelines

  • Data, facts and figures must be specified accurately.
  • References must be mentioned clearly to allow other researchers to replicate the work. False or consciously incorrect statements amount to unethical actions and are unacceptable.
  • The work submitted by authors must be completely original. It must not be partially or totally published elsewhere.
  • The work and/or words from other sources must be properly cited/ quoted.
  • The submitted manuscript will be rejected in case plagiarism is detected.
  • Any unfair means, fabrication of research outcomes or incorrect arguments may cause rejection of the article.

Editor’s Responsibilities

  • Corresponding authors must receive a response from the Editor-in-Chief/Editor about rejection, consideration or acceptance for publication.
  • The Editor-in-Chief/Editor of the journal holds the responsibility for making decisions about selection of the submitted articles for publication.
  • Editor shall accept or reject a submitted manuscript only on the basis of its scientific content and must not consider the nationality, gender, race, age or institutional affiliation of the authors.
  • Editor-in-Chief/Editor will decide appropriate reviewers according to the content of the submitted paper.
  • Editor will reveal information about a submitted manuscript only to the corresponding author, reviewers and other editorial advisors.
  • The Editor-in-Chief, Editor, the members of the Editorial Board, and any editorial staff must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the authors of the manuscript, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisors, and the publisher, as appropriate.
  • It is the responsibility of the corresponding author to ensure that names all the co-authors are mentioned in the paper, and they have viewed and approved the final version of the paper and have agreed to its submission for publication.
